How to play Picross
Numbers beside each row and column describe groups of consecutive filled cells. Separate numbers always have at least one empty square between them.

A clue of “5” means five neighboring filled cells in that line.

Daily Picross FAQ
Is Picross the same as a Nonogram?
Yes. Picross, Nonogram, Griddlers, Hanjie and Picture Cross describe the same clue-based picture puzzle. “Picross” is commonly used for the video-game format.
Is DailyPicross free and does it need an account?
The daily game, archive, Endless mode and solver are free. No sign-in is needed. A display name is requested only if you choose to post a completed score.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The board supports taps, drag painting, a dedicated X tool and horizontal scrolling for larger 20×20 and 25×25 puzzles.
What is the difference between Challenge and Relaxed mode?
Challenge checks each move and gives you three hearts. Relaxed mode lets you place cells without penalties and check the grid whenever you want.
Does my progress survive a refresh?
Yes. Puzzle state, time, settings, completions and streaks are stored locally in your browser. Clearing site data removes that local history.
Can I solve my own Nonogram clues?
