How the Nonogram solver works
The tool generates every line pattern that matches each row clue. It then removes patterns that cannot agree with the column clues and searches the remaining combinations. Processing happens inside your browser; clue text is not uploaded.
What a solver can and cannot tell you
A valid result proves that at least one grid matches the clues. Some clue sets can have more than one solution, so the first valid grid is not always unique. Published Picross puzzles should normally be designed for one logical solution.
Solver input example
For a five-row puzzle, the Row clues box must contain five lines. A line reading 1 1 represents two separate single cells; a line reading 3 represents one group of three.
